Lorac Palette - brown EOTD

Still loving my Lorac Palette that I got from Sephora. I think it's my favorite palette for neutral looks. The colors are nicely pigmented and blend really well. I just went to find the link and it looks like it is no longer offered. So sad. :(

oh my, sassy is awesome. seriously, the foundation is to DIE for!! it's so smooth and silky and creamy, and keeps me matte but glowy, and i found my perfect match on the first try, and their website is so easily navigated, their customer service is the best i've ever even heard of, let alone witnessed my own self, and the e/s are gorgeous and their blushes are stunning, and i love EVERYTHING i got in my order, lol!!

oh, and did i mention the samples are super cheap? and come in jars? cause they do. ;)

Wow that's really awesome Liz! I was looking at their site and am a bit overwhelmed. I want it ALL! lol Great prices. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

Oh is there a certain shadow or two you are highly in love with?

oh my heck, i love disturbing the peace, which is a kick in the face teal color, but it's a little bright for work. you would ADORE sugar daddy, and fairy wings. those are two colors that screamed your name when i got them. my idol was also very lovely, merlin's ball is a gorgeous silver that's just silver and nothing but sparkly lovely silver, madison ave is a stunning pink, all their matte colors that i got (all two of them, lol!) are creamy and have a subtle sheen that is awesome, i'm really actually in love with everything i got, seriously. this has never happened to me with an order before, i'm really happy. totally try out their foundation too; everyone, and i mean everyone, who's tried it so far on the forum, and every single review i could get my hands on, has raved about it. but if i had to pick work appropriate e/s for you, it would be sugar daddy and fairy wings, not work appropriate, jolt, or one of the purples, which i didn't get cause i just got one from fyrinnae. it's horribly hard to narrow it down, lol! i wanted everything too!

hey, do you want me to send you the swatch pics i made of all the shadows i got? this just occured to me. duh, that might be easier, huh? lol!!

lillypug said...

Yes, you can email me the swatch photos. I am definitely gonna get some shadows, a couple of blushes and a sample of foundation. Great prices on samples in jars!

lizS said...

okay lillypug, i totally will! i'll have to do it from john's email, though, because mine won't let me attach anything. just so you're on the lookout for it!

lillypug said...

Got it - THANKS! I was gonna reply to the email then I realized I was going to be emailing John. haha

Are the swatches on your hand in the same order as on the paper?

gah! i forgot to label thing for you didn't i? geesh, i'm sorry. totally spaced it. they are, but only sort of. here's how it goes;
top row, left to right;
inspired by angels blush, so perceptive blush, (e/s from here on out) merlin's ball, my idol
second row, left to right;
jolt, madison ave, disturbing the peace, false pretenses
third row, left to right;
sweetness, tempted, fairy wings and sugar daddy. glad you could actually see them, lol!

Twenty years and four generations in thecarbon road wheelmaking, Campagnolo has finally presented not just one but two electronic groups,
Record EPS (Electronic Power Shift) and Super Record ysbike01 EPS, both with identical functionality but slight differences in weight and bearing performance just like the mechanical analogues.
While consumers are only just now seeingalloy road wheelsetshe production version of Campagnolo's new electronic group,
the company actually first began its first development work in 1992 – back when eight-speed drivetrains and integrated brake/shift levers were still considered state-of-the-art and about a year before Mavic's first ill-fated commercial attempt.
Campagnolo's first working prototype wascarbon wheellike everything else in those days – an eight-speed system and the company's developers tucked the electronics and battery inside a gutted water bottle.
The necessary derailleur motors and actuators were quickly deemed too heavy and bulky to be practical, though, and the idea was relegated to indefinite development status.
While the company was convinced a motorized transmission carbon wheelsrepresented the next logical step in terms of performance, it nonetheless also felt no pressure to bring a system to market on a specific timeline.
The section of the brakes, called the brake pad or brake shoe,that comes into contact with the moving rim is usually made of rubber or leather to maximize the friction needed to stop.
All other parts of the braking system—arms, cable, and levers—must be rigid
and precisely positioned to transfer the relatively light force exerted by hands on brake leversto the high power needed in the brakes for effective braking.
