I have given this primer a few weeks now and I have to say I really like it. It comes in a tube and it helps to shake it before squirting it out. The consistency can become almost watery looking unless it has been shaken. A little goes a long way. It is a white, almost creamy consistency that disappears when rubbed into the skin. It significantly helps the pores on my cheeks and nose and helps to diminish the fine lines (especially around my eyes). It last the entire time I am at work, which is 13 hours and keeps both liquid foundation and mineral powder in place. I have not broken out from it and I seem to be very sensitive to things like this that help with pores. It is pretty amazing stuff, especially for the price. I have tired smashbox primer, clinique pore refiner and monistat anitchafing gel (this stuff broke me out) and this works as well and perhaps better than any of those. I have to say, for the price this is a great product and would highly recommend anyone who has issues with the mineral powder settling into the fine lies and pores to give this stuff a go! I use it with my silk naturals powder foundation and it makes a world of difference!

oh man, and i was JUST AT walmart on saturday, lol! i'll totally pick some up the next time i'm there! thanks for the review, babe! i've been hunting for a good primer, especially one that helps with fine lines. darn aging, lol!
Definitely give it a try liz, after all, you can always return it. Let me know if you try it and if you like it.
I forgot to mention, it is best to let it dry for a few minutes before applying foundation.
you can return it if you used it? that's awesome! i'm going to have to remember that!
Yes, the drugstores let you return your makeup if it is used. Walmart should be no different, plus, it's walmart...they pretty much return anything, especially if you have a receipt. I bet you like it though, it's an amazing difference. :)
i forgot to ask, lillypug, how this helps with oilies? just wondering. thanks!
It's hard to say about the oilies. I still get oily sometimes so I don't think it really helps me with that.
okay, cool, thanks! i've found a couple of foundations that do a pretty good job of controlling oil, but i want PERFECTION, lol!
What foundation are you using that works for oilies?
sassy minerals is pretty good, and lucy minerals is superb, and lucy has two different formulas for oil control--one with silica and one with calcium carbonate, or something like that. sassy's samples are 75 cents and lucy's used to be cheaper, but the owner was loosing too much on postage for little orders, so now she has a six dollar minimum, but her product is well worth it, and shipping is free. both company's customer services are fan-freaking-tastic, too. let me know if you need more info! happy hunting, lol!
Thanks, when I run out of my silk naturals I will give Lucy a try! :)
